Joel's Stair Reno Project

We’ve had the opportunity to redo a few sets of stairs over the years. What may seem like a daunting task is actually relatively simple, albeit time consuming, with a basic set of carpentry skills and a few tools. We are currently in the midst of updating the farm/lake house we purchased two years ago, and both sets of stairs were left to us in extremely poor condition. I’ve documented the process this time so that somebody else can easily update their stairs—self sufficient style.
